The buyers just need to capture the barcode and login to their system. This market they shown in subway station is soul. They also offer around 500 products including food, electronic, and office stationary This market first time open in seolleung south station which is city with a population of 10 million people.

Second Life

1. SS Galaxy

I already created account for second life, and his name is p0stm4il. After I created the account, I straightly was going to SS Galaxy. When i go there, i'm not feel really happy, because this place almost for ladies. Because when i go there i saw a lot of a banner to sell their product. Why i feel not happy, actually because you know woman is really like shopping but i very hate. But i feel free go for (“shopping”) this place. Because this the first destination i have play the second life. But after i walk around i also get the toy store and i go inside for a few minutes. And after i look around and fly away, I assume this is the ship transit place, because this island is not really big, and sea in around this island. 

 2. Kowloon

Kowloon is a place with Japanese theme. If you can see the environment and the decoration they set properly. Went i go there, i felling different because this place more interesting and unique.When i walk through, i saw a city with their tag, said that “gift from Kowloon sim 0$” then, i took it and the dialog box came out to me. And i just choose to keep it.

Went around in this place, and suddenly i saw a giant minimalist artistic gate that was really nice. I went inside and was so curious about it. After all, what i saw are kiosks with different property and equipment. Then, i went to the one bar and suddenly they gave me the back sound music that suitable with the place. I could really enjoy it. Next kiosk that i went through was Avatar Shop. They help us to create our own avatar, and it cost around 60L$-1000L$

 

 

3. Straylight

In this time i research the second life in MMU Computer (VR LAB). And after i installed the new version in that computer and i shocked because the view of application different and i can search the destination instantly. After i try to find out why can different views, and i get the differences. That is the setting of game before you sign in to playing. That means i can choose the basic or advance. Ok, after i teleport to straylight island i was standing on the bridge with the beauty scenery. And a lot of trees decorate and make this place are set beautiful.

 

When i try to go inside came closer to their exhibition, suddenly the pop out window come to me and it welcomed me that was in botanical area. All of the plants are being sold. Each of them has different price and their currency is L$. And the first plan that i saw was sugar maple collections. And they sold it from 100L$ till the higher price is 500L$. Next round, i saw the text “5trees in 1, try me out now!” and i try to touch that black box. After i touch and i really shocked because the texture of the trees are suddenly changed.

4. International Spaceflight Museum

The first impression for this place was really interesting, because this is far away from the daily busy life with the work and far-far away from the earth. Actually this is the small place when i go for the journey in second life and i still look around to gets new experience from this place. After i walked away to other things i read some explanation if the texture of the earth is taken when someone go to solar system, wow this is so amazing.

And suddenly when i walk around i fell away from the museum and i just keep quiet because i thought the player will be respawn from the beginning. But i actually i need to keep my mind because i like fly away going to the earth from solar system.

And this is the second place in the International Spaceflight Museum. In fact this is the different place from the up there. This museum was made up in the earth. Went i look around this i saw the NASA meeting area. It was wonderful, because they set up like a sci-fi environment and in the middle of the meeting area they have like a globe. After i look around again, i saw there also has a lot of space ship in here.

5. Tropical Island

Finally this is the last my destination and this place is the second destination what i was really amazed. Because this is place was really relaxing, fun, enjoy and far away from the daily busy life with the assignment. This small island is surrounded by a blue ocean and it was very clear. In addition, they gave us facilities likes a place to relax, a good view, etc. Went i walk around i also look some dolphins swim to and fro. I was thinking this place is like a secret villa, because i saw 1 helicopter park near that place. And i doesn’t fet any market like in other tourism place.

By the way in this place also got a small mountain that also got a small waterfall, it really beautiful. Suddenly i dreamed. “If in reality i got money i want buy like that place”. Because this is so fantastic and I’m feel enjoyed.

TRANSFORMERS 3

Last week we went to watch the new Transformers movie with the other classmate. But in different things is we was watched in 3D, and this is the first time in my experience. When we watch the 3D movie we must using 3D glasses, but actually i really don't like using the glassesa And make me annoying, because sometimes i need to open it and after i finish watched the movie i got headache . :(

There's some things to consider in 3D

1. The use of the screen space: on, behind and in front of the screen; the X, Y, and the Z axis. How well was it used, or was it over-used ? Did you get a realistic or a hyper-realistic sense of depth in the film and why?

-  For me, the most part when i did feeling the 3D sense when the particle flying over out in the screen and the subtitle. And the other things in the movie i hard to feeling.

2. Consider the director’s shot designs. How does the cinematographer maximize the sense of 3D by placement of the camera, choice of angles, placement/direction of actors ?

-  in my opinion they did their best to put all the placement of camera. Nevertheless i hard to fell the sense of 3D but i still can say they did their the best work.

3. What shots or visual sequences remain in your mind as visually strong ?
Discuss specific examples that you liked and why.


- the scene when the snake want to pursue sam witwicky inside the building and that snake destroy that building. That visual i really remain in my mind and that moment i am very tense. And i was thinking, how was they can did that effect.


 4. Consider the overall “soundscape” of the Transformers film. Did the sound match the 3D visuals? Add to the visuals, or dominate the visuals? In your opinion, what is the role of sound in a 3D film such as this one?

- The sound was good and perfect, because make me feel i am in that moment. That sound i guess not because the cinema have the good sound system, but from the film it's self. And sometimes i can distinguish the right and left sound effect.

5. Compared to any other 3D film you have seen, what was the best part of this one,
and why? Give examples for your comparison.

- For me, it's my first time i have ever watched the 3D film. So i can't give the comparison to any other 3d film.

6. Discuss any other aspect of the film that your found added to the 3D experience.

- I think firstly the sound also can enhanced the 3D experience and for the other things is if lets say we was watched in bigger size than last week i think it will more make the 3D experience.

Stereo Photograph

Last week we talk about stereoscopic or 3D imaging, refer to technique for creating the illusion of depth in an image by presenting two offset images separately to the left and right eye of the viewer (wikipedia). To see the illusion of depth in an images we need a glasses, but not the normal glasses that means to view we need a special glasses like this one :

By using this we can combine the two images by different angles, because you already know to get the illusion of depth in an image we need take 2 picture by different side (you can see the example of picture :

So you can see in the picture, the camera take 2 picture like an eyes human. after that they combine that 2 pictures like a blurry an images. And this is the example of 3D images by using stereoscopic glasses

And for the last, i got the software to combine that 2 image picture to make an 3D images. This is the freeware, so who wanna try to make 3D image just find this software (STEREO'EYE). And this is my 3D images, but i think this is failed because i still don't know the correct technique.

Experiential Studies

For this semester i just take 4 subject and its include experiential studies, but i really don't really know what experiential studies is. But in my mind i think about cultivate the experience. So for this semester i will learn about the experiential studies.

But after i trying to research what experiential studies is the process of making meaning from direct experience. Aristotle once said, "For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them ( Wikipedia ). So my conclusion is that this studies is all about experiencing and then learn something from it.
